3 Day Liberty and Freestyle Riding Connection Clinic - Neil Pye - 9-11 March 2024 - Location 90 Neave Road, West Melton, Canterbury
The art of Liberty can be summed up! “When you take the halter and lead rope off, all that’s left is the truth”Liberty is the ultimate test of your connection.
For the Horse;Liberty helps your horse work on his gymnastic improvement and overall athletic capability. By creating good self carriage without a rider, a horse develops better posture and movement overall, which translates very well to the saddle.
For the Human:Playing at Liberty helps you develop more control over your energy. As your horse learns to follow your suggestion, your learn how to be more effective and clear in making your suggestion. You learn the exact amount of energy it takes to get your horse out at a trot and at a canter, you also learn how to be more precise in your body language when you want your horse to back up, come forward, change direction, or make transitions.
Experience how your connection on the ground sets you and your horse up for Freestyle Riding, with or without a saddle…. a strong connection at Liberty can be the difference that makes the ‘difference’
Limited class size. - Fee includes arrival on Thursday afternoon - Tuition and Horse Pen for as many nights as necessary, Auditors are welcome to this clinic but must attend the Friday before they can audit Saturday and Sunday. For More information or booking - contact Sandy by email on info@SandyStanway.com 2 (or 3) Day Control and Confidence Clinic – Neil Pye - Saturday 21st Sept, Sun 22nd Sept with the optional third day of Mon 23rd Sept 2024. - Location 90 Neave Road, West Melton, CanterburyThis clinic is all about building control and confidence working with or riding your horse and improving the confidence of the horse with everything they have to face in a humans world. Neil has been running this course for a number of years both in Australia and here with huge success, and is designed to be a course that can (and should) be repeated multiple times and will progress your horsemanship every time. It is a two day clinic with an optional 3rd day. The idea of the third day is about time and consistency and when everything you have learnt over the first two days get put into practice and it all comes together. This clinic will have a maximum of 12 participants on it. Auditors are welcome to this clinic but must attend the Saturday before they can audit Sunday and Monday. - For More information or booking - contact Sandy by email on info@SandyStanway.com 5 Day Camp with Neil Pye – 29 Nov - Dec 3 2024 This was hugely popular and is being offered again this year. This focus of this camp is on Advancing your Horsemanship. Being a master Instructor, no matter what level you are at, Neil will expertly help you improve and progress and build a better relationship with your horse. No spectators/auditors.
